Threaded screw-in stud (Stainless steel) for multi-purpose fastenings on steel in highly corrosive environments
- Base materials: Steel
- Minimum thickness of base material (steel): 6 mm
- Corrosion protection: Corrosion protection equivalent to A4(316)
Features
- The S-BT MR is easier and more reliable to use – requires no electric supply cords or heavy equipment for installation
- Suitable for use in highly corrosive environments (C4 and C5) on coated steel
- No rework necessary on coated steel
- High corrosion resistance – suitable for most marine, offshore, petrochemical and power plant applications
- No propellant required
Applications
- Fastening into steel with a thickness of 6 mm or greater in highly corrosive environments
- Fastening cable ladders using channels or hold-down/expansion guide clips
- Fastening cable trays and cable runs using channels or conduit clips
- Fastening junction boxes, switchgear and instrumentation panels directly or using channels
- Fastening lighting fixtures, signage etc.
